How to Use BlockSkin
BlockSkin pairs two AI generators in one app: AI Studio (general image generation — anime, landscapes, portraits, game art) and a dedicated Minecraft skin engine (text-to-skin and photo-to-skin). Pick your tab below — here's everything you need to know about each one.
Getting Started
Create a free account to start generating. You get 3 free credits straight away, then 4 more every day — no credit card required. Creating and previewing is free; downloading a skin file needs any purchase. AI Studio image generations use credits from the same shared balance.
2 Ways to Generate a Skin
Text → Skin
Describe your character in any language, AI generates the Minecraft skin directly. Fast, classic flow.
1-9 credits (quality/variants)
Image → Skin
Upload a character image — your own art, something you made in the Image Studio, or any picture you have. We convert it into a Minecraft skin.
2 credits (fixed)
The Image Studio is its own page ("Image" in the sidebar): general AI pictures that are not limited to Minecraft — anime characters, landscapes, portraits, in any aspect ratio. Take anything you like from there, upload it under "Image → Skin" here, and it becomes a skin.
Writing Good Prompts
The key to great skins is a good description. Be specific about what you want.
Prompt Tips
- •Be specific: "knight in golden armor with red cape" works better than "cool character"
- •Mention colors: "blue hair, green eyes, silver armor"
- •Describe the style: "medieval", "futuristic", "cute", "dark", "pixel art"
- •Add details: "battle scars", "glowing eyes", "flower crown", "torn cape"
- •You can write in Turkish! The AI automatically translates your prompt.
Advanced Settings
Steps (20–75)
Higher steps = more detail but slower generation. Default 50 is good for most skins. Use 75 for maximum quality.
Guidance (1–20)
How closely the AI follows your prompt. Higher = more literal, Lower = more creative. Default 7.5 works best.
Variants (1–4)
How many different skins to generate. 4 variants give you the most options to choose from.
3D Preview
Click any variant to see it in the 3D viewer on the right. You can rotate and zoom the model to see your skin from every angle.
Downloading Skins
Downloading a skin file needs any purchase — a credit pack or a plan — and it stays unlocked afterwards. Once unlocked, click the Download button on any variant card, or the big Download button in the 3D preview panel. The skin is a standard 64×64 PNG file.
Using in Minecraft
Go to minecraft.net and sign in
Click on your profile
Upload the downloaded PNG as your skin
Launch Minecraft and enjoy your new look!
Credits System
Every new account gets 3 free credits, then 4 free credits a day (about one generation). If you need more, you can purchase credit packs from the Pricing page. Credits never expire.
